Audio Record and Playback, Dual-Channel, USB

The Addict-Technologies APS120 is a stand-alone dual channel audio playback system to be used in industrial applications. Audio messages are directly downloaded from the Microsoft Windows application "APS Interface" using an USB port giving full reprogramming flexibility. Playback of the message is done upon activation of a board's input.


Messages only need to be recorded in well-known WAV standard widely available on different audio recording software. It allows using an identical message on multiple units for industrial use comparatively to other microphone based playback systems.

Specifications:

Audio:

  • Support WAV audio file (PCM, m-law and A-law in mono or stereo).
  • Fixed sample rate of 8.021KHz with 16-bit data format.
  • Up-to 16 seconds of recording time in mono, next coming version up-to 4 minutes.
  • Maximum of three messages recorded to match number of available actuators.

Hardware:

  • Three digital inputs edge-sensitive to use with any actuator type.
  • Three digital outputs to monitor configured actuators and playback of messages.
  • Two analog speakers’ outputs of 7W.
  • TI DSP based processing.
  • Dimension: 117mm x 84mm (4.6" x 3.3")

Software:

  • USB communication with APS Interface (Windows based software).
  • Modify actuators configuration and messages without limits.
  • Configure on which speaker an actuator outputs his associated message without limits.
  • Configure sound level of the speakers.

 Electrical:

  • Operates with 12V, 1.5A power supply included.
  • Current consumption of 200mA (stand-by).
